  1. It took 9 minutes to walk around the apartment complex. I think I was walking faster than usual and I was thinking about doing it again to count the steps, but assuming 25 min / mile is the minimum, so that would mean doing it 225/9 = 25 times. That sounds easy, sounds like it shouldn't take 4 hours. I'll do it again and count the steps, one time with normal steps one time with big steps just to see.

  2. regular steps it was 978. 2000x9=18000 /978 = 18.5 /950 = 19 /900 = 20. I can't do .5 anyway, so I'll go with 19. count each one as 950. It makes counting easier. if I want to do some other walking in combination it's easier to add them together. 95/200 = 19/40. Not that I would do it by that fraction, just by the number of steps. Anyway I've done 2 today, so that's 1900 steps. I could just walk inside for a hundred steps and write down a mile.
